On February 22, during the Mindszenty 80 commemorative year, we remember when Bishop József Mindszenty, who was imprisoned by the Arrow Cross Party, was visited by Bishop Vilmos Apor of Győr.

On this day, the Archdiocese of Veszprém will hold a book launch, where those interested can learn about three publications.

The Archdiocese of Veszprém is reissuing Magdi Bódi’s book Tanúságtétel liliommal, vérrel (Testimony with Lilies and Blood) by P. József Temesi, S.J. The English edition of the same book will also be available at the launch.

The conference volume entitled The Legacy of Mária Magdolna Bódi, which was a great success in the fall, is now also being published in English.

The book presentation will be held at the Biró-Giczey House at 5 p.m.

After the program, András Veres, Bishop of Győr, will lead a festive Holy Mass at St. Michael’s Cathedral at 6 p.m.

This will be followed by a concert by the Hungarian Air Force Band at 7 p.m. in the cathedral.
